About Us

A 700-Kilometre Adventure

We used to live the life of office workers, the kind where you could see all the way to the end. Then one day, a long-distance call came: “I've fallen in love with jadeite. Would you like to do this together?”
Knowing nothing about jadeite at the time, I stepped into this world of green on the strength of one thought: “Because it's you, I believe.”

Starting from Scratch

What “texture” meant, what “translucency” meant, it all sounded like a foreign language to me at first. From knowing nothing to finally beginning to understand, jadeite has taught me not only an eye for beauty, but also how to embrace my own imperfections. Just as every piece of natural jadeite has its own uniqueness, you don't have to wait until you are at your best to begin. Once you start, things will slowly get better.
Thank you to the one who believed in me without hesitation, and who taught me to believe too.
